How we collect info

  1. Advertisement:

    Screenit has two different business models:

    1. Full Version:

      If you as a user purchased the full version of "Screenit", this app won't use androids built in "Android Advertising ID", since advertisements (ads) are not activated in the full version of Screenit.

    2. Free Version:

      If you as a user are using the free version of "Screenit", where advertisements (ads) are activated, this part of the privacy policy is important for you. To ensure that every user gets personalized advertisements, AdMob by Google, our partner for advertisements, tracks users using androids built in "Android Advertising ID". This "Android Advertising ID" doesn't hold any private data such as your name, telephone number, or other sensitive information. Screenit furthermore doesn't collect any other private data and doesn't connect the "Android Advertising ID" with information related to your Google Account or device.

  2. Tracking Technologies:

    Screenit uses Google Analytics, as well as Crashlytics a service from Fabric, in order to track crashes and bugs that users experience. Furthermore, this anonymous data is used for statistic purposes. For this, Screenit collects the following anonymous info: Your devices name, manufacturer and android version. ; Your app usage, in fact, when and how often you open and close the app. ; Your amount of screenshot taken and currently saved on your phone. as well as some more small meta-data. Screenit doesn't share any of your private images and screenshots with anyone!

How we use your info

  1. Advertisement:

    Your private data, in fact, your "Android Advertising ID" is only used for the purpose of displaying advertisements (ads) to you as a user. To accomplish this, Screenit shares your "Android Advertising ID" and only this specific data, with AdMob by Google.

  2. Tracking Technologies:

    Your anonymous info is only used for the purpose of analyzing the app's stability on different devices and for bug solving purposes. In fact crash reports as well as other anonymous info is only used to further improve Screenit and for statistic purposes. To accomplish this, Screenit shares your anonymous info and only this specific data, Google Analytics and Fabric.

Your local data on your device is saved as long as Screenit is installed on your device. Data shared with our partners may be saved even after the uninstallation of Screenit. Please see their privacy policies for further information.

What we are not collecting

Other than your "Android Advertising ID" and the anonymous info specified above, Screenit doesn't collect or share any user data. Private images, as well as screenshots, are not collected and shared in any case. This data is only saved locally on your device.
